the Tech Fairy: Photography is a hobby, but I'm not an amateur: I studied and even worked with it for a while, at college lab. Back then, it wasn't that different from revealing those eletronic circuit boards from tech school, except visual composition took the place of arranjements of resistors. Then came the World Wide Web and I jumped in. Long story short: I am now a Software Engineer with a camera.
